Why Clean Carpets/Upholstery?
It is a proven fact that, over time, carpets and upholsteries become soiled with dirt, grease and stains. Dust mites in particular can be a nuisance, they can aggravate those who suffer from asthmatic or bronchial conditions. Babies and small children are especially prone to suffer from dust mites.
As you can see from the graph opposite, we can reduce dust mites by upto 75%.
Grease and dirt not only looks unsightly, but can give rise to foul smells. Grease and dirt will also shorten the life of carpet fibres and upholstery fabrics. Staining from the likes of coffee, tea, wine and urine tend to act like acids as the ph value is lowered considerably, causing corrosion to fibres and fabrics.
Not even the best vacuum cleaners on the market can remove grease and stains. They only remove surface dust and visible particles that sit high in the carpet pile. Only hot water extraction can penetrate deep down into the fibres and remove impregnated dirt, grease, stains and dust mites.
